Auxiliary Summer Ambassador Position title: Auxiliary Summer Ambassador Department: Auxiliary Marketing, University of Georgia Classification: Temporary Technical Paraprofessional (FLSA Non-Exempt) Working hours: Up to 20 hours per week Advertised salary: $14/hour (or current Auxiliary Services student employee hourly rate if higher) Start date: 05/18/2026 Closing date: Open until filled Responsibilities Engage with new students to answer questions and facilitate discussions about Auxiliary Services. Assist in the preparation and execution of orientation activities and materials. Educate attendees on the operations and benefits of Auxiliary programs on campus. Introduce new students to Auxiliary Services locations and amenities. Lead tours, participate in promotional events, capture photos and videos, and contribute to digital communications as needed. Qualifications Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse audience, including students, parents, and campus visitors. Positive and welcoming attitude to create an inclusive and engaging environment. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to assisting others. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Physical Demands Lift, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch, and kneel; lifting at least 25 pounds.
