GIA Group Inc. is seeking an experienced, responsible, and detail-oriented  Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Manage and review payroll records
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets
• Monitor company cash flow, expenses, and outstanding receivables
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting and reconcile inventory records
• Prepare and maintain sales tax records and filings
• Assist with budgeting and financial analysis
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and internal controls
• Coordinate with the company’s CPA for tax preparation and year-end reporting
• Provide regular financial reports to company management
• Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend improvements to financial procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of  QuickBooks
• Experience with AP, AR, payroll, bank reconciliation, and financial statements
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles
• Inventory or wholesale/distribution accounting experience is highly preferred
• Strong Excel and computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• CPA certification is a plus, but not required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

Experience working with  wholesale, food distribution, warehouse, or inventory-based businesses is strongly preferred.
