General Anesthesiologist

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Salary: $468,000 - $674,000 annually

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled General Anesthesiologist to provide comprehensive anesthesia care throughout the perioperative process. The physician will evaluate patients, develop anesthesia plans, administer anesthesia, and ensure safe patient management before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preoperative evaluations and review patient medical histories, medications, and risk factors.
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical and procedural cases.
• Manage intraoperative and postoperative patient care.
• Respond to emergencies and support patient safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical excellence initiatives.
  

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in anesthesiology preferred.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
  

Licensure & Certifications

• Active medical license to practice medicine in the applicable state.
• Controlled substance prescribing authorization and DEA registration required.
• Current certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required based on clinical responsibilities.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology preferred.
• Fellowship training or board certification in Pediatrics is preferred but not required.
  

Required Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to provide safe, efficient anesthesia care in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of current anesthesia practices, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
