We work on meaningful commercial projects that make an impact.Your New RoleAs a Heavy Equipment Operator at Petri Electric, you'll be responsible for:Operating Mini Excavators, Backhoes, and other excavation equipment for trenching and material handlingPerforming precise and efficient excavation for underground electrical systemsFollowing blueprints, project plans, and safety protocolsConducting routine equipment inspections and maintenanceWorking with site supervisors, electricians, and crew members to complete projects on timeMaintaining a professional, safety-first mindsetThis position will be based in Richardson, TX, and work throughout the metroplex.Hiring Expectations: Apply today, complete a quick phone screening, and get ready for an interview with our team to discuss your goals and experience.Job Requirements2+ years of experience operating Mini Excavators, Backhoes, or similar equipmentStrong understanding of trenching techniques, underground utilities, and soil conditionsAbility to read and follow electrical site plans and construction blueprintsValid CDL (preferred, but not required)Equipment certifications required for machinery you operateA commitment to safety, precision, and efficiencyWillingness to work outdoors in all weather conditionsAbility to pass a background check and drug testPetri Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
