Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at an acute care hospital in Oregon, requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and advanced fetal monitoring certification.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit at a 38-bed acute care hospital (Adult Level IV Trauma)
• Patient care includes labor, postpartum, antepartum, cesarean section, post-op, and newborn care
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
• Every other weekend work required at minimum
• No on-call responsibilities
• Some holiday coverage required
• Floating within the unit and across the health system is required; refusal to float may result in contract cancellation
• Charting performed in Epic
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space

Requirements

• Active Oregon (OR) RN license required; pending license accepted with proof of OR license application and fingerprints
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, Advanced NRP, and Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, or Relias Fetal Heart Monitoring)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Experience with labor, postpartum, antepartum, cesarean section, post-op, and newborn care required
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of any Legacy Health facility
• All assigned education must be completed within one week of the start of assignment
• Scrubs are provided for L&D staff
• Finalized RTO must be submitted prior to consideration; no RTO permitted during the first week of the assignment, and no more than 7 days of RTO per assignment
• COVID vaccination card required with no exemptions accepted
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration
