Role Description The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus, OH. This position supports the Store Manager in daily branch operations, including supervising team members, monitoring store performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Assistant Store Manager helps deliver a positive customer experience by assisting with transactions, resolving customer issues, and promoting appropriate financial products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing cash handling, maintaining store appearance and security, tracking performance metrics, and contributing to sales and promotional activities. The role also involves training and coaching team members, supporting loss prevention efforts, and participating in opening and closing procedures to ensure operational efficiency. Qualifications Customer-focused abilities, including strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills. Effective Communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, team members, and leadership. Store Management capabilities, including supervising staff, supporting daily operations, and assisting with performance oversight. Retail Loss Prevention awareness, with skills in maintaining security, protecting company assets, and following compliance guidelines. Prior experience in retail, financial services, or a customer-facing environment is preferred. Basic math, cash handling, and computer proficiency, including use of point-of-sale systems. Ability to work flexible hours, stand for extended periods, and perform typical retail operational tasks.
