Job Overview Associate Account Executive located in Southern Illinois territory. The role involves expanding sales of Ethicon products and converting competitive products in a manner that complies with company policy and sales direction, supporting the aligned Area/Region for all sales-related activities, and becoming eligible for an Account Executive role. The AAE is trained to understand and demonstrate proper use of products to healthcare providers in an operating room setting and to execute a concise, professional, ethical selling cycle that leads the customer to action. Responsibilities Expand the sales of Ethicon US, LLC products and convert competitive products in a manner that complies with company policy and sales direction. Support the aligned Area/Region for all sales-related activities, and upon successful completion of duties, be eligible to compete for the role as an Account Executive. Understand and demonstrate proper use of products in operating room settings. Execute the selling cycle in a concise, professional, ethical manner that leads the customer to action. Understand and demonstrate proper preparation and surgical use of all products. Manage customer product questions and objections in line with sales training methodology. Conduct sales presentations using current selling methods learned in courses. Case coverage: assist surgeons through strategic platforms and products in operating rooms. Comply with standards for safe behavior, demonstrate product, procedure, and clinical knowledge; conduct business in accordance with the Business Conduct Policy, HCC, and other J&J policies. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 0–2 years of business experience. Ability to travel as necessary (potentially overnight and/or weekend) and/or relocate to an assigned geography. Valid driver’s license issued in the United States. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of professional experience. Established business planning and forecasting experience. Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business preferred. Experience selling in a new or changed sales channel. Strong desire to learn and grow professionally. Excellence in process management and organizational agility. Documentation of successful sales performance. Ability to work in an operating room. Salary Base pay range: $54,000 – 86,250.
