Nurse Practitioner

Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Nurse Practitioner, based in San Diego, CA, with flexibility for some work from home. The Nurse Practitioner will assess and treat patients with acute and chronic wounds, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include performing wound debridement, suggesting appropriate offloading and mobility solutions, advising on nutritional interventions, educating caregivers, and documenting patient progress accurately. The role also involves adapting care strategies to meet evolving patient needs. Qualifications Proficiency in clinical wound care, wound debridement, and developing tailored treatment plans Knowledge of mobility and offloading techniques, along with expertise in physical therapy principles Understanding of clinical nutrition as it relates to tissue repair and wound healing Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient education and caregiver support Ability to document patient care efficiently and adapt based on changing patient requirements Current Nurse Practitioner license in California and BLS certification Experience in outpatient or home healthcare settings is a plus Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems Commitment to providing empathetic, patient-centered care #J-18808-Ljbffr
