All Cortica employment decisions are made based on an individual's qualifications and ability to successfully perform the job responsibilities.What will you do?Assist with check in of in person and telehealth patientsServe as the primary assistant to the physicians and nurse practitioners at the practice, including chart preparation and between visit supportProvide neuromodulation education and support to patients in accordance with Cortica's standardized operating procedures (including Cranial Electric Stimulation, Endeavor, and at some Cortica locations, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation)Order and track labs, genetic tests, and imagingIntuit and anticipate the needs of medical staffPerform a wide variety of clerical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiativeKnow how to navigate a complex medical environmentUnderstands the lines of communication, handles communications properly, and is dependable and collaborativeAct as a liaison between the patient and billing department, and to enhance account receivables, resolve outstanding issues and/or patient concernsWork with staff and understands appropriate scheduling process, willing to learn procedures/patient prepsAssist Clinical office staff with scheduling issues in a timely mannerCall in prescriptions, and process prescription denialsCreate new patient records, upload documents, and maintain accuracy in EMR with physical recordsCoordinate EEG referralsPrepare items for presentations as needed by the medical teamHelp with special projects and last-minute urgent assignments from leadershipComplete forms for patients, email patient appointment follow-up (supplement lists, nutrition guides, information links, etc.)Coordinate medical scheduling, SDRC scheduling, and maintain appropriate spreadsheetsApply company policies and procedures and coordinate administrative matters with colleagues in all offices in a diligent and professional mannerProceed with any other administrative duties that may be required by Dept. According to your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location, you will receive compensation that fits appropriately within the range.
