Quality Engineering Manager

Quality Engineering ManagerApex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Quality Engineering Manager for our client based out of Fort Worth, TX.This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a first-shift Monday–Friday schedule.Responsibilities:Support the implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of project quality control programs to ensure compliance with contract requirements and quality standards.Review project documentation including drawings, specifications, contracts, requests for proposal (RFPs), and submittals for quality and compliance requirements.Lead and support the execution of a Three?Phase Quality Control process, including preparatory meetings, initial inspections, and follow?up inspections.Develop project?specific installation checklists and quality verification tools for field personnel.Perform detailed field inspections to verify installation quality, workmanship, and compliance with project specifications.Collect, analyze, and report quality performance metrics and inspection findings to support continuous improvement initiatives.Participate in daily safety and project meetings, ensuring quality concerns and corrective actions are addressed.Manage quality punch lists, commissioning issues, and closeout activities through final resolution.Serve as a liaison between project teams, contractors, owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality expectations are understood and achieved.Support development, implementation, and administration of project quality plans and procedures.Identify quality risks and work collaboratively with project teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.Contribute to maintaining a culture focused on quality, safety, accountability, and operational excellence.Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.5+ years of construction, engineering, commissioning, quality control, or project delivery experience within commercial, industrial, infrastructure, government, or mission?critical environments.Experience reviewing construction documents, engineering drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.Strong knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC Three?Phase Quality Control processes.Experience conducting field inspections, quality audits, and verification activities.Ability to identify quality deficiencies and drive corrective actions to resolution.Strong communication, organizational, and problem?solving skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, owners, and stakeholders.Comfortable working in active construction or installation environments.Nice to Have:Experience supporting government, military, defense, federal, or mission?critical projects.Journeyman Electrical License or completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program.Experience with commissioning, testing, and project turnover activities.Knowledge of construction quality management systems and documentation controls.Experience leading quality improvement or operational excellence initiatives.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
