Step into a fulfilling opportunity where your expertise as an SLP can make a lasting difference. This full-time, contract position is based near Joliet, IL, serving young learners in grades K-2. You will support a manageable caseload of 25-30 students, working Monday through Friday from 7:35 am to 3:05 pm. The schedule is thoughtfully developed—allowing you to focus your energy on delivering impactful, push-in services without the stress of planning logistics.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Familiarity with K-2 populations and IEP implementation
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging push-in speech-language therapy to K-2 students within classroom settings
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate therapy into daily instruction
- Manage and organize individual education plans (IEPs) and maintain documentation
- Track student progress and contribute to IEP meetings
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment supporting each child’s communication development
