Data Strategy Lead

JCW has partnered with a leading enterprise technology company seeking a Data Strategy Lead for a 3- 6 month contract engagement sitting within their Digital Transformation Office. This person will own the development and execution of an enterprise-wide data strategy tied directly to the company's broader digital transformation agenda, operating at a true 50/50 split between business strategy and data execution.
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data strategy, or digital transformation
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale data or digital transformation initiatives end-to-end within an enterprise organization
- Deep fundamentals in data engineering, including how data is structured, modeled, and managed at scale
- Hands-on experience designing data operating models and enterprise data governance frameworks
- Proficiency in SQL; experience with Snowflake preferred; SAP and Power BI a plus
- Working knowledge of AI and ML, including identifying use cases and embedding them into business processes
- Strong program and project management skills across a global, cross-functional environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at every level without direct authority
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts clearly for non-technical audiences.
