About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Telemetry (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Onsite | Travel Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Medical Telemetry unit with a day-shift RN ratio of 1:5/6
• Monitor patients using medical remote telemetry equipment and document care using Cerner EMR
• Prepare patients for procedures including Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and the Operating Room
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, and HUCs to deliver safe, high-quality care
• Adhere to unit dress code, weekend shift requirements (minimum 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule), and float obligations to designated sister units

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Medical Telemetry experience (required)
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Charge Nurse or leadership experience
• CMSRN certification (encouraged)
