Perinatal Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Location: Colorado

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Perinatal Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for maternal and neonatal care to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care for mothers and newborns, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the perinatal period.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to perinatal patients.
• Perform assessments and create individualized care plans.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage fetal heart monitoring.
• Assist with neonatal resuscitation as needed.
• Educate patients and families on perinatal health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP).
• Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM) certification.
• The STABLE Program - STABLE Learner (STABLE).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a perinatal RN required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing preferred.
• Experience with EPIC preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
