Substance Abuse Counselor

Schedule: 4x10 shifts, Wednesday through Saturday Job Description Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals battling addiction and mental health challenges? We are seeking a dedicated professional with a Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred), CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor), or LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor) certification. If you have a passion for making a positive impact and meet the specified qualifications. Job Responsibilities Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for individuals with substance use challenges. Develop and implement programming based on clients' needs, goals, and diagnoses. Utilize evidence-based counseling techniques to address clients' unique needs. Lead specialty groups, if applicable, meeting all regulatory standards and certification requirements. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated care. Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required (Master's degree preferred). CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) or LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor) required. Minimum 2 years of experience in counseling or related field. Appropriate certifications to lead specialty groups, meeting all regulatory standards.
