Cost Accountant

DescriptionMy client is a well-established, highly profitable $300 million dollar + privately held apparel wholesaler located in NYC. They have been in acquisition mode adding some impressive companies and brands into the umbrella.The Controller is looking for an exceptional Cost Accountant to join the team, this is a net new position due to growth and/acquisitions. They are open to giving this a Senior Cost Accountant title based on experience.As always, this is a permanent, full time, fully benefited salaried position (this is NOT a temp role or temp to perm).They are located in midtown and the role will be 3-4 days onsite.Compensation Package based on experience:Base: $90 - $110k base + discretionary bonusThe role will cover:Must have costing experience, cost per sheets, per styles, product lines etc.Must have experience with inventoryAR and AP experience Working with the warehouseAny experience with factoring, licensing, royalties, multi currencies Have 12x product lines, 100+ different divisionsWho are you?MUST have experience within the product based sector, ideally wholesale/apparel, open to retail and manufacturing backgrounds A minimum of a BA/BS in accounting from a top accredited schoolB4/Public Accounting and/or a CPA are a +3+ years of experience. Exceptional communications skills are required. A great dynamic personality and the ability to work along your fellow colleagues is crucial.
