Medical-Surgical RN in Leesburg, GA

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• At least one year of recent experience in a medical-surgical (Med Surg) nursing role
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Current BLS certification (additional certifications such as ACLS are a plus)
• Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) and adaptable to facility protocols
• Ability to prioritize effectively and provide compassionate, patient-centered care

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical unit in accordance with best practices and facility protocols
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status, responding to changes promptly and appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other interprofessional team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform wound care and other nursing interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold a safe, clean environment that supports patient recovery
