We are seeking an experienced Commercial Glass Estimator to join our dynamic team in Miami. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in the glass and glazing industry, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately estimate the cost, materials, labor, and time required for commercial glazing projects.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to obtain the best prices and products.
- Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages for clients.
- Track project expenses and adjust budget projections accordingly.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, products, and pricing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a glass estimator, preferably in the commercial sector.
- Strong understanding of commercial glazing systems and materials.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
