Sales & Service Technician Dallas, TX, United States | Req: 29835 Responsibilities Analyze customers' machines at their site to diagnose problems and independently recommend solutions via service or equipment sales. Survey customers' machines to establish a baseline on existing efficiencies, analyze potential productivity gains and savings, present to customer and independently implement. Install new machines to meet manufacturer installation standards. Work with National Market Manager(s) to propose new machines to existing and new customer base. Ensure equipment is in safe working condition once repairs are complete. Provide monthly reporting of activities and billings to National Automation Service Manager. Attend service trainings as required to stay up to date on the latest technologies and offerings. Work within a team atmosphere with other regional technicians. Qualifications High School Diploma / GED required; Technical Degree in Electronics preferred. Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required. Five (5) years of experience in an electrical manufacturing environment preferred. Welding or cutting experience preferred. Excellent communication and computer or PC skills required. Occasional overnight/weeklong travel required. Approximately 50% travel required.
