Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Labor and Delivery Certified Surgical Tech you will be is responsible for selected tasks in the administration of patient care within the Labor and Delivery operating room suites and labor room suites. Our team is dedicated to patient care, apply today!

You will assist with surgical procedures in scrub duties, and in the orientation, training, and education of new personnel.

You will assist the registered nurse before, during, and after deliveries with patient and room care, set up, and cleaning

You will assist registered nurse with transporting patients and belongings as directed, as well as clerical duties or other duties as assigned in order to facilitate the continuum of care for each patient.

 

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certification from an accredited school of surgical technology.
• Current Surgical Technician Certification through NBSTSA Required
• Current BCLS Required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum one-year surgical tech experience in Labor & Delivery required
