Housekeeping Aide - Maybrook Hills Rehab - Altoona, PA Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Maybrook Hills Rehab in Altoona, PA. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $15.70 - $16.75. Responsibilities: Adhere to all Maybrook Hills policies and procedures, and internal environmental programs Ensure assigned areas are clean and sanitized in a timely manner Assist/direct daily or scheduled cleaning duties; Perform all tasks in accordance with established Universal Precautions and sanitary, safety, and infection control policies and procedures Participate in continuous Company improvement programs to enhance the quality of resident care in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern long-term care facilities Attend and participate in facility training sessions to remain current regarding changes in the environmental services field Work in designated areas and interact with other facility personnel, residents, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc. Communicate with facility, medical, and support agency staff Maintain resident confidentiality and treat residents with dignity, kindness, and respect Know and comply with residents' rights rules General Responsibilities: Perform all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner following all standard infection control, sanitation, and safety guidelines for equipment operation Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary Represent Maybrook Hills in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others Requirements: Previous experience in healthcare, not required but preferred Ability to clean and sanitize all assigned areas Ability to lift 10 to 15 pound buckets from a cart to sink a minimum of 15 times a day Ability to push maid carts weighing up to 40 pounds in and out of elevators and down hallways Ability to handle chemicals safely Why Join Us: Competitive pay Medical, dental, and vision benefits Optional supplemental insurance such as STD Vacation, sick and paid holidays 401k with employer match On-site childcare with payroll deduction Supportive leadership and team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Maybrook Hills Rehab
