Job Skills / Requirements

HIRING IMMEDIATELY

We have a Part-Time opportunity (that will likely go to Full-Time very soon) available at our client site in Morehead City, NC. General duties include strict access control, conducting vehicle inspections while checking for contraband, checking incoming/outgoing vehicles for appropriate credentials/paperwork and maintaining records of key information. The schedule is for one day a week, plus filling any available hours before the position segues into Full-Time. This is a perfect position for someone looking to get their foot in the door at an excellent facility. The SET DAY is:

Thursdays, 3pm to 11pm

Other days will be assigned as they’re available, or as the staff takes vacation, etc. The goal is to get the ideal candidate into a FULL-TIME role fairly quickly.

If you’re not currently in possession of a Private Protective Services Board (PPSB) security license, you’ll need to be available to attend a two-day class online. If you don’t have a computer with camera capabilities, we can provide a ChromeBook to help you complete the class. You will also need to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Workers Identifcation Card), as the site is a Federal installation.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Sun123
