Director, Telecom Media & Technology | Corporate Finance

About The Role Are you ready to dive into complex business environments and contribute to high‑impact recommendations that drive client success? As a director you will play a key role in formulating strategic recommendations and implementing changes for clients by leading individual project modules and workstreams, deploying commercial acumen in performing key analysis, connecting it with the bigger picture and sharing output with clients. You will also coach more junior staff and interns. What You’ll Do Lead modules of a project or a small workstream in client billable project work. Structure problems, gather data, execute analysis and drive insights; leverage Excel and financial proficiency. Synthesize and present findings in a clear, structured format to larger client contexts. Manage project modules with guidance from senior team members, prioritize tasks, manage workloads, communicate project status, and deliver high‑quality outputs within deadlines. Coach and mentor junior consultants and interns. Contribute to developing intellectual capital such as white papers, points of view, and client pitches and proposals. What You Will Need To Succeed Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration. 5+ years relevant post‑graduate experience. Prior experience in professional services, consulting, investment banking or M&A division of a Telecom, Media & Technology company. Ability to travel to clients and FTI Consulting office(s) as needed. Preferred Qualifications Master’s in Business and Administration. Prior experience in management consulting or professional services environment. Compensation Minimum Pay: $109,000 Maximum Pay: $224,000. The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role. Actual compensation is determined based on a wide array of relevant factors including market considerations, business needs, and an individual’s location, skills, level of experience, and qualifications.
