Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for an ED RN: Join Our Dynamic Team!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night, 12x3 (7p-7a)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly

Qualifications:


- Current NYS RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- MEDITECH experience required
- Travel experience required
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Critical Care and charge experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:


- Identify and intervene in life-threatening situations
- Provide quality patient care and assess patients' clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
- Recognize safety issues for self and others; implement safe patient movement using lifts
- Function well in stressful situations; exhibit strong, creative problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate
- Assume duties as a charge nurse when required
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Certifications:


- Successfully complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation
- Obtain defibrillation certification within six months of employment
- IV, medication, and phlebotomy certification during orientation
