Job Summary:

The Record Center Specialist is responsible for processing orders, organizing storage materials, and safely moving boxes, bins, totes, and other products throughout the facility. This is a physically demanding position requiring frequent lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, stooping, crawling, and twisting.

Warehouse or general labor experience is helpful but not required.

Work Schedule

• Schedule: 5 days per week
• Daily Hours: 9 hours per day
• Breaks: 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks

Physical Requirements:

The position requires employees to:

• Frequently kneel, squat, reach, and bend forward throughout the shift.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Regularly lift and carry boxes weighing approximately 10–100 lbs.
• Routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Move boxes manually and using hand carts.
• Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Work on uneven and concrete surfaces.
• Perform physical tasks involving standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, bending, and twisting.
• Safely move and arrange storage boxes, bins, totes, and other materials.

Required Protective Footwear

Protective footwear is required and must meet:

• ASTM F2413-11– Standard Specification for Performance Requirements for Protective (Safety) Toe Cap Footwear.
• Slip-resistant rating designated as “Better” or “Best.”

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Effective time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company guidelines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lift and move boxes to and from scan lines.
• Sort products to assist scanners in meeting production goals.
• Sort labeled boxes onto corresponding pallets.
• Label completed pallets accurately and legibly.
• Supply workstations with assembled boxes.
• Transport trash to compactors for disposal as required.
• Assist team members in other work areas as needed.
• Process and move files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Safely load, move, arrange, and organize boxes and other stored materials
