Position Overview Join our dynamic team at Minden Medical Center as a Full Time (7am-7pm) Registered Nurse (RN) in the Psychiatric/Behavioral Health department. This role allows you to work onsite in our state-of-the-art facilities in Minden, LA, applying your expertise and compassion in a supportive environment. Day-to-Day Responsibilities As a new Registered Nurse in our Psychiatric/Behavior Health department, your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, administering medications, and implementing individualized care plans. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients while fostering a therapeutic environment. The position follows a 36/48 schedule, working 7AM-7PM, allowing extended periods off for rest and rejuvenation. Qualifications and Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy and compassion to provide high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions. Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a team setting. Capable of making quick and accurate decisions in critical situations. Adaptability and resilience to navigate the dynamic nature of psychiatric nursing. Commitment to uphold the highest standards of patient safety and care. MUST have current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana. MUST have CPR certification.
