Cardiac Sonography - Cardiac Sonographer - $2340 per week.

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <40 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Hackensack Meridian Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and sterile operative techniques. - Vascular testing experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - 2 years prior experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or invasive procedure area preferred.

Required Credentials: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Graduate of a certified cardiovascular technology school and/or graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program with a specialty in cardiac sonography with RDMS or RDCS. - Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certification. - RVT or RVS certification required. - Must document at least 15 hours of echocardiography related continuing education over a period of three (3) years. All hours must be relevant to echocardiography.

Special Requests: - Failed fit tests due to facial hair and inability to shave automatically disqualify clinicians from proceeding.

Unit Details: - Performs cardiac ultrasound procedures including 2-D M-Mode, color flow imaging, stress echo, TEE, doppler studies, strain, and 3D echocardiography. - Assists a trained, credentialed cardiology attending during stress echocardiogram and TEE procedures. - Performs bedside studies by transporting equipment to the patient’s room.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required. - No weekends, no holidays, no on-call.

7 days maximum time off

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS

• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RVS

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
