You will serve as the subject matter expert for Intuitive's Digital solutions — designing global curricula, facilitating engaging learning experiences, and enabling services and support teams to confidently implement, troubleshoot, and communicate the value of our digital products.This role bridges technology, education, and customer success, ensuring teams worldwide can deliver consistent, high-quality training experiences.Primary ResponsibilitiesGlobal Training Design & DeliveryDesign, develop, and maintain a global training curriculum that standardizes technical competencies across commercial roles, applying instructional design best practices (needs analysis, learning objectives, assessment, and iteration).Facilitate training through in-person, virtual, and Train-the-Trainer formats, covering network, data, security, design, and product-specific workflows.Develop onboarding and continuous learning programs for digital solution deployments, minimizing escalation and accelerating adoption.Measure and track training effectiveness, using data to drive continuous improvement in learner proficiency.Manage multiple complex training projects and priorities with strong organization and attention to detail.Act as the program manager for global programs which includes, building agendas, managing logistics, owning participant communication, setting up test environments, etc.Technical Expertise & SupportAct as a functional expert for Digital Technical Support Tier 1 and 2.Build and maintain training on networked solution configurations, upgrades, and enhancements.Troubleshoot and teach resolution methods for complex connectivity, access, and software application issues, with particular depth in TCP/IP and 802.11 networking protocols.Serve as subject matter expert on technical specifications and requirements for digital solutions; maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, policies, and procedures.Maintain in-depth knowledge of core IT technologies — network systems, operating systems, databases, access controls, change control, application/system development, IT operations, incident response, monitoring, and asset management.Maintain proficiency in Intuitive business applications (Astra, SFDC, Artemis, etc.).Create training content for deployment across Commercial and Distributor Teams, with focused support for Digital Technical Support, Field Service, Customer Service, and Technical Support.Create content, including leader guides, E-learning modules, videos, performance support materials, etc.Facilitation & Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with the Digital Learning Team, Digital Product Owners, Engineers, and Support teams to ensure training aligns with product requirements and updates. This includes staying in close partnership with global stakeholders to understand their business needs.Establish regular collaboration with product development and product management teams to stay current on evolving digital infrastructure, software upgrades, and product enhancements.Collaborate with Sales, Service, Cybersecurity, and customer-facing teams to identify and address training needs.Liaise with local and corporate teams on new product introductions, upgrades, and related activities, serving as the technical subject matter expert.QualificationsRequired QualificationsInstructional Design & FacilitationExperience in an educational or training role preferred; if you lack this background, you should be curious and eager to learn — you will be required to complete an introductory instructional design course.Excellent communication and facilitation skills — able to present technical concepts to audiences ranging from service engineers to CTO/CIO-level stakeholders.Self-motivated, collaborative, and solutions-oriented.Technical SkillsStrong foundation in network engineering, including TCP/UDP, VLANS, subnetting, firewalls, NAT/PAT, OSI model, and cybersecurity best practices.Advanced knowledge of IT systems: servers, databases, storage, operating systems, HL7/DICOM interfaces, and cloud services.Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.Experience building and presenting architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and RFI/RFP responses.Familiarity with hospital IT processes, healthcare technology trends, and industry regulations.Education & CertificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; or 8+ years equivalent technical experience (preferably in medical device or healthcare IT).Professional certifications preferred: MCSE, CCNA, CWNA, CWSP, CompTIA Network+/Security+.Preferred QualificationsExperience managing complex projects end-to-end.Familiarity with hospital IT environments and regulated medical settings.Experience with complaint handling and compliance requirements.Knowledge of network security infrastructure, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.This can be based out of Sunnyvale,CA or Atlanta,GAAdditional InformationDue to the nature of our business and the role, please note that Intuitive and/or your customer(s) may require that you show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19.
