Must-Have: Post-surgical experience, ideally in urology, orthopedics, and general medical overflow. Willingness to learn and take on charge responsibilities.

Description: Delivers nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses. Establishes nursing care objectives. Defines nursing interventions. Provides physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families. Educates patients and their families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Notices changing conditions and needs. Re-evaluates care objectives.

General Comments: Weekly guaranteed hours are 36 or 48, depending on candidate preference. Requested time off of up to 5 days in each 13-week assignment can be automatically approved. Candidates should expect to work every other full weekend. Candidates should be prepared to work at least one major holiday during the assignment. The facility is a 245-bed Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center. The hospital has several certifications, including a Comprehensive Cardiac Center Certification. Rated with a B grade in the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade. Offers a variety of nearby activities and attractions.
