As a CBRE Plumber, you will coordinate general preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and fixing of plumbing, mechanical and distribution systems throughout a facility.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function.

What you’ll do

• Repair, install, replace, test, and solve the water and medical gas supply and distribution system.

• Install new water systems, piping, and fixturesbyblueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.

• Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using aplumber’ssnake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.

• Support colleagues or external workers with projects or equipment installations.

• Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.

• Offer training toadditionalteammembers for themto carry out minor plumbing maintenance and repairs.

• Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned.

• Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.

• Follow all activity policies and procedures, alwaysincluding all HSE-related requirements.

• Finish the HSE programs & activities asrequired, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.

• Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.

• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures toaccomplishsophisticated assignments and provide innovative solutions.

• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

• Impacta range of customer, operational, project or service activities withinownteam and other related teams.

• Explain difficult or sensitive information

• Wisconsin Journeymen License Required

What you’ll need

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 4-5 years of job-related experience.

• Plumbing certification at the Journeyman levelrequired. Medical Gas certification and Backflow certification preferred.

• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

• Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc. and CMMS
