Structural Design Associate

Join Olsson’s South Facilities Engineering and Design team as a Design Associate and help shape impactful structures across healthcare, data centers, education, and commercial development. In this role, you’ll independently perform complex drafting assignments, applying standardized techniques and collaborating with engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality, code-compliant drawings. Responsibilities Create detailed structural drawings and layouts using Revit. Research and apply design concepts to enhance project outcomes. Review drawings and maintain project documentation. Supervise and support less experienced staff. Collaborate with engineers and attend client meetings. Help improve drafting standards and team processes. Ensure projects meet quality and timeline goals. We’re looking for Working collaboratively with others. Having ownership in the work you do. Using your talents to positively affect communities. Qualifications + + years of experience in structural drafting and/or design, with advanced proficiency in Revit and other BIM/CAD tools. Associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of structural detailing, building systems, and construction documentation. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to generate effective solutions to complex problems. Solid communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
