Offers a comprehensive range of services including Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management, Women's Health, and Pediatrics. Region's premier imaging, surgery, and laboratory services. Located in the central region of Michigan's upper peninsula. Largest community in the peninsula. Home to a well-known university. Unit Information: Number of Beds: 24. Patient Ratios: 1:6. Equipment Information: EHR is transitioning to a new platform. Supervisor to staff ratio is 1-2. Patient Population: All ages over 28 days. Hiring Profile: Must have skills/experience: 2+ years with adult patients. Preferred skillset/experience: 2+ years in pediatrics. Common diagnosis/treatment includes trauma and post-operative care for ortho/neuro, with a general pediatric unit averaging 0-3 rooms. Personality fit: Teamwork and collaboration are essential.
