Job Summary:

The Hyperbaric RN provides specialized patient care for individuals undergoing hyperbaric oxygen therapy, ensuring safety and adherence to regulatory standards. This role involves operating hyperbaric equipment, implementing emergency procedures, and delivering individualized wound care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate and maintain hyperbaric oxygen treatment equipment according to established protocols.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient safety and respond to emergency situations in compliance with UHMS and NFPA guidelines.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Perform routine cleaning and troubleshooting of hyperbaric chambers and ancillary devices.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Deliver quality wound care tailored to each patient in collaboration with medical staff.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Document patient care activities accurately and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Participate in emergency drills and safety training to maintain readiness.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  
  
• 
  Hold a valid MD or compact LPN license at the time of application.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Complete 40 hours of approved Undersea and Hyperbaric Society (UHMS) hyperbaric treatment training.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Possess ACLS and BLS certifications.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Have at least 2 years of experience as a hyperbaric clinician or similar setting.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Preferably hold CHRN or CHT certification.
  
  
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in hyperbaric equipment operation and patient safety procedures.
