Parts Delivery Driver

The Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for driving parts and equipment between store locations, our customers locations and/or suppliers locations to pick up and return, safely and in accordance to all local, state and federal laws and/or company policies/procedures.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Pick-up and deliver parts and equipment between store locations, customers locations and/or suppliers locations, safely and in accordance to all local, state and federal laws and/or company policies/procedures.
• Load/unload delivery vehicle in a safe manner, securing all items.
• Ensure timely and accurate pick-up/delivery; verify invoice or purchase order matches order being delivered; obtain customer signature of pick-up delivery.
• Properly conduct pre and post trip inspections, reporting any deficiencies to management.
• Collect payment from customer.
• Maintain accurate log of pick-ups/deliveries.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass Work Steps pre-employment physical.
• Ability to work safely and effectively, following all policies, procedures and/or laws.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, short correspondences, and memos.
• Ability to be on-call 24/7.
