CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist Location: Warren, MI Pay Rate: $27.28/hour starting pay Shifts Available: 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift Union Facility Position Overview: A growing precision manufacturing company in Warren is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who take pride in precision work, machining accuracy, and hands-on problem solving within a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision metal components Work primarily with HAAS machines and controls (similar CNC experience will also be considered) Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing instructions Perform tool offsets, tooling changes, and machine adjustments to maintain part quality and tight tolerances Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment Troubleshoot minor machining, tooling, and dimensional issues during production Support continuous improvement efforts related to quality, efficiency, and workflow Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times Requirements Qualifications: 3?5 years of CNC machining experience required Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong understanding of setups, tool offsets, and tooling adjustments Experience using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges HAAS machining experience strongly preferred CNC certification preferred; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered Experience with milling, turning, grinding, or other metal removal processes is a plus Familiarity with SAP routing, BOMs, or AutoCAD is beneficial but not required Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Work Environment Clean and organized manufacturing facility Modern CNC equipment and stable production environment Long-term opportunity with room for growth and advancement Additional Requirements Steel-toe shoes or boots required Must be able to pass a drug screening, including THC Must pass a national background check Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Coverage Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay 401(k) with Company Match Life and AD&D Insurance Paid Leave Programs Tuition Assistance This is an excellent opportunity for experienced machinists seeking stable union employment, competitive pay, and long-term career growth in a precision manufacturing environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr G.Z.Q.S.O.
