Validate end-to-end retail workflows, including browsing, cart, checkout, payments, promotions, and order management. Test integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, loyalty/rewards programs, and backend services. Execute end-to-end transaction testing, including:Credit/Debit, mobile wallets, and alternative paymentsDiscounts, promotions, loyalty redemptions Returns, refunds, and order modificationsPerform API and backend validation using tools such as Postman or similar.Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools; perform root cause analysis and retesting. Analyze application logs using tools such as Xcode, Android Logcat, and ADB for troubleshooting.Support and contribute to test automation initiatives for Web and Mobile platforms. Your role Ensure compliance with security, payment (PCI), and data privacy standards.Prepare and share test status reports, metrics, and quality insights with stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Development, DevOps) in an Agile environment. Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in digital / eCommerce application testing.Strong understanding of retail / consumer product transaction flows. Hands-on experience testing Web, iOS, and Android applications.Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM). Your skills and experience Proficiency in debugging using:Xcode (iOS logs)Android Studio / Logcat / ADBExperience with proxy and API tools:Charles Proxy, Fiddler, Postman, Lambada TestFamiliarity with mobile development tools (Android Studio, Xcode). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong knowledge of API testing and backend validation (including SQL queries).Preferred SkillsExperience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar). Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Knowledge of performance and security testing tools.Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models. Nice to HavePrior experience in retail, footwear, or omnichannel commerce environments.Understanding of order management systems (OMS) and inventory lifecycle. Exposure to A/B testing and analytics validation. The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $68,911 - $161,544 Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
