Data Scientist - Equities
Global Investment Firm
A leading global alternative investment manager is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to partner directly with senior Portfolio Managers across its fundamental equities platform.

This is a front-office role focused on generating differentiated, alpha-driving insights through alternative data, advanced modeling, and AI.
What You'll Do
- Frame and test high-conviction investment hypotheses
- Analyze structured and alternative data (Python & SQL)
- Build time-series models and earnings-driven forecasts
- Develop and rigorously validate new investment signals
- Leverage LLMs and AI tools to enhance research workflows
- Deliver clear, decision-ready insights to senior investors
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years in data science, alternative xhyhwjd data, or quantitative research
- Strong Python & SQL skills
- Solid foundation in statistics and time-series analysis
- Clear communicator who can translate technical work into investment impact
- Financial markets exposure preferred
