Technical Analyst

Technical AnalystThe Technical Analyst serves as a key liaison between business units and enterprise systems developed in Java/J2EE technologies. This role involves analyzing system, data, and application issues, and delivering technical solutions to support end users and customers effectively.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for software, hardware, and operating systems, including researching, testing, and communicating solutionsEscalate issues appropriately to other Technology Services teams when necessaryAnalyze system impacts and propose process or application changes, including updates to file layouts and web servicesExtract and analyze data using basic to complex SQL queries to support issue resolution, solution development, and testingDebug Java applications to identify root causes and recommend solutions, collaborating with development teams for implementationCreate and document test cases to support development and ensure quality assuranceRequired Technical SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data extraction and performance enhancementFamiliarity with object-oriented programming conceptsBasic understanding of web services (REST or SOAP)Ability to assess software changes and determine system impactsExperience with incident management and support ticketing systemsFlexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExcellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
