We Are Hiring Specialty: Family Medicine Schedule: Full-time Practice Detail: Primary Care clinic adjacent to Ascension Seton Smithville Hospital EMR System: Athena Facility: Ascension Seton Lockhart Health Center Location: Lockhart, Texas This job location is not currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type What You Will Do Ascension Seton is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine physician for our Ascension Seton Lockhart Health Center. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Seton to provide medical services to patients. Position Highlights: Lockhart is located about 30 miles east of Austin Lots of growth in area due to proximity to Tesla Factory and Samsung High demand for Primary Care providers in area Responsibilities: Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management. Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. Accepts patient referrals from other physicians. Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
