Dimensional QC Inspector

A manufacturing company is hiring a Dimensional QC Inspector to check parts and products for accuracy and quality. The ideal candidate will know how to read blueprints and use measuring tools. Job Duties Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components to ensure quality and specification compliance. Utilize precision inspection equipment, including CMMs, optical comparators, laser scanners, calipers, and micrometers. Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements to verify dimensional and manufacturing accuracy. Maintain detailed inspection documentation , verify Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), and identify, document, and isolate nonconforming materials. Work with production employees to correct quality issues. Keep inspection tools and records organized. Follow company safety and quality procedures. Requirements High school diploma or GED required, with technical or vocational training preferred Attention to detail. time management. and computer literacy (ERP or inventory software) Typically requires 2+ years in precision manufacturing. aerospace. or machining quality environment Strong mechanical aptitude. mathematical proficiency. and deep knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9001 #J-18808-Ljbffr
