Position Summary
Position Summary
Charles F. Day & Associates, LLC (CFDay) is seeking qualified candidates to support secure credential production and quality assurance for the U.S. Air Force Security Forces Center (AFSFC) Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) Credentialing Program. This position is contingent upon contract award. The Secure Credential Production & Quality Specialist will support the production, inspection, accountability, packaging, and distribution of secure photographic law-enforcement credentials for eligible active-duty U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force personnel. The position requires exceptional attention to detail, disciplined handling of controlled credential materials, accurate recordkeeping, and consistent application of credential security and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
· Produce secure photographic LEOSA credentials in accordance with Government-approved specifications and program requirements.
· Verify credential information against approved applicant records prior to production.
· Perform quality-control inspections of completed credentials before release.
· Identify and correct printing, personalization, photograph, data, or physical credential defects.
· Support credential security features and anti-counterfeiting controls.
· Maintain accountability for credential stock, supplies, production materials, and completed credentials.
· Maintain accurate production, issuance, replacement, and disposition records.
· Package and prepare completed credentials for shipment to applicants, including domestic and overseas locations.
· Process approved credential changes and replacements.
· Support resolution of returned, damaged, defective, lost, or otherwise problematic credential shipments.
· Protect applicant information, credential materials, and production systems from unauthorized access or disclosure.
· Support application processing and database/recordkeeping activities when required.
· Coordinate with the LEOSA Credentialing Program Specialist, Contract Manager, and CFDay technical support personnel.
· Follow documented production and quality procedures and immediately report discrepancies or security concerns.
Required Qualifications
· Experience in secure credential production, identification-card production, badge production, access-control credentialing, printing/production quality control, or a closely related field.
· Demonstrated ability to perform detailed visual and data-quality inspections.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow repeatable production procedures.
· Experience maintaining accurate electronic records, production logs, inventories, or similar accountability records.
· Ability to safeguard sensitive information and controlled materials.
· Strong computer skills and ability to work with databases and web-based applications.
· Ability to work independently while maintaining established production and quality standards.
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience producing law-enforcement, military, Government, PIV/CAC-type, access-control, or other secure identification credentials.
· Knowledge of secure-printing or anti-counterfeiting techniques.
· Experience with card printers, credential personalization systems, secure printing equipment, or related production technology.
· Experience with credential inventory and material accountability.
· Prior DoD, military, law-enforcement, or Federal Government contracting experience.
· Experience processing and shipping sensitive or controlled materials.
· Familiarity with LEOSA or law-enforcement credentialing programs.
· Ability to cross-train in applicant processing, customer service, and electronic recordkeeping.
