Job Opportunity

Position: Travel RN - Behavioral Health

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 120
  • Number of Staff: 50
  • Type of Staff:

    • Day Shift RNs and Mental Health Techs (MHTs)
    • Night Shift RNs and Mental Health Techs (MHTs)
  • Patient Ratios: 1:8/9 (Days and Nights, estimated but not guaranteed)
  • Equipment: Welsh Allen Vital Sign Machines
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
Qualifications
  • Essential Skills:

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
    • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification or Calm Every Storm Certification
    • 1 year of current Behavioral Health experience
  • Preferred Skills:

    • Strong inpatient behavioral health experience
Typical Procedures
  • Behavioral Health admissions and discharges
  • Lead RN resources classes offered
  • Floating to other inpatient adult behavioral health units as needed
Personality Fit
  • Flexibility and willingness to manage patient acuity
  • Team player with a compassionate approach
