Pay: $18/hour + $4,000 SIGN ON BONUS!

Join Genacross Lutheran Services as a Youth Residential Support Specialist , where you'll help children and adolescents navigate emotional and behavioral challenges while developing the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

In this hands-on role, you'll serve as a mentor, role model, and source of support for youth in a structured, home-like environment. Whether you're looking to begin a career in human services or build on your experience working with youth, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact.

What You'll Do as a Youth Residential Support Specialist:

• Build meaningful relationships with youth, providing encouragement, guidance, and positive mentorship.
• Create a safe and supportive environment where youth feel respected, valued, and understood.
• Support daily activities , including meals, recreation, personal care, and transportation.
• Teach important life skills , including communication, problem-solving, social skills, and independence.
• Help youth navigate challenges using trauma-informed care and positive behavioral support techniques.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support individualized treatment goals.
• Monitor and document progress , behaviors, and important daily activities.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
