Role Description The Real Estate Agent role at Uplift Realty is a full-time position based in Des Moines, IA. The agent will help clients buy and sell residential and commercial properties, including conducting property showings, preparing listings, and advising clients on market conditions and pricing. Daily responsibilities include prospecting for new clients, following up on leads, hosting open houses, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local market trends and regulations. The role also involves preparing and reviewing contracts, coordinating with lenders, inspectors, and other professionals, and ensuring that each transaction is handled efficiently and ethically. Collaboration with the broader team and participation in community-focused activities are important components of the position. Qualifications Candidates should possess a valid Real Estate License, have completed at least one real estate transaction and foundational knowledge of Real Estate practices. Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships. Candidates should possess skills to effectively market, negotiate, and close transactions. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities. Candidates should be comfortable working anywhere (office, home, and/or on the road), traveling locally for showings, and using real estate technology tools (CRM, MLS, digital document platforms). Prior experience in residential or commercial real estate in the Des Moines area is preferred but not required.
