Position / Specialty: MS/Tele RN
Shift: 3x12 Nights (1830-0700)
Avg. Daily Census: 19. 30 bed unit.
Years of experience REQ: Minimum 3 years' experience required.
First-timers accepted: Yes.
Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend.
Certs REQ: ACLS and BLS required. NIH preferred.
Is on-call REQ? No.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes - If low census, will float within skill level
Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.
Must have active IL license in hand to apply.
RTO Restrictions: Discuss time off requests with manager.
•Special Requirements: MS/Tele and Tele experience required.
•Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams.
•Required Endocrine/Metabolic Skills/Experience: IV insulin protocols, Titration of insulin drips. Feeding tube care and management experience required. Experience with patients with Renal failure required.
•Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs.
•Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin Protocols, Titrate Vasoactive drips.
•Required Neurological/Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: CVA. Experience with Total Joint Replacements required.
•Required Respiratory Skills/Experience: External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management.
•Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Community Hospital Experience Preferred.
