Job Description ROLE SUMMARYThis is a Remote position Only if you currently reside in the state of Texas near a major airport. Otherwise, this is an Onsite position based at our location in Goleta, CA (Greater Santa Barbara, CA area).No Visa sponsorships are available for this position. Salary Range $120,000 - $180,000 + bonusThe Senior Manager, Sales & Customer Support provides ongoing support to direct reports and customers on a daily basis. He/she will lead a team focused on resolving various commercial items and aggressively targeting expansion opportunities within the industrial water market. He/she will support the implementation of business strategies and maintain profitable relationships focused on accelerating opportunities, driving funnel growth, team execution, order processing and new account acquisition.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPlayer coach managing accounts and a team consisting of Inside Sales and Customer ServiceKey markets – Chemical, Oil & Gas, Lithium/Mineral Mining, Data Centers, Micro-Electronics, Semi-Conductors, etc.Applications - Water and WastewaterKey technology offering – Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ultra-Filtration (UF), Nano-Filtration (NF), Micro-Filtration (MF), Membrane Flat Sheet and Contract ManufacturingSupports the business in strategy execusion and implementation of the regional growth plan (prepare a strategic sales plan focused on target accounts and markets, supports order analysis, reviews contracts, prepares and maintains relevant documentation)Provide ongoing technical support and ensure high-quality customer service (follow-up of orders, customer visits, prepare and conduct customer presentations)Serve as a liaison between the customer and MANN+HUMMEL internal departments, understand customer needs and initiatePrepare the price analyses, as well as the operational sales planningPrepare and lead price negotiations for new projects and customersSupport the business with market research and industry intelligenceIdentify, develop and support the team with identification of new customersAccellerate new channel partner (Distributors, OEMs, Integrators) relationshipsMaintain, update and coach Salesforce disiplineResponsible for achieving individual and team booking and revenue targetsProvide urgent response time in delivering customer & channel partner satisfactionResponsible for prospecting, developing and managing a distribution network. Including distributor strategy execution, distributor performance management, and distributor key performance indicators (KPIs) REQUIREMENTSEducation:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a similar field of studyExperience:• 8 years’ minimum customer-facing sales experience within a manufacturing environment• 3 years’ minimum team leadership / team management experience leading direct reports• Experience developing and implementing customer focused strategies• Previous experience in filtration (membrane, particle filters, coalescers, etc.).Required Skills:• Customer driven, organization and coordination skills, self-motivated and ability to deliver in fast-paced, challenging environments• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously• Ability to travel approximately 30 – 35% (Primarily domestic U.S./ Canada)• Conflict management skills• Strong English communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)• Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)• CRM experience• SAP experiencePreferred Experience and Skills:• Membrane Filtration experience specifically• Salesforce CRM• Bi-lingual English/Spanish#LI - Remote Are you full of ideas?
