We are seeking an IT Consultant - Application Security & Vulnerability Management to join our team. This role will involve onboarding as a developer to help remediate a backlog of security vulnerabilities on an internet-facing IAM platform across Java, .NET, Angular, and React technology stacks. The ideal candidate will have experience in vulnerability management, code review, Java development, and testing, along with a passion for cybersecurity and application safety.

Location: Richardson, TX / New York, NY / Alpharetta, GA

Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:

• Onboard as a developer to help remediate a backlog of security vulnerabilities on an internet-facing IAM platform.

• Work across the technology stack comprising Java, .NET, Angular, and React.

• Review security findings and understand reported vulnerabilities thoroughly.

• Run required tests to confirm whether each reported finding is a genuine vulnerability.

• Create and implement necessary code changes to remediate confirmed vulnerabilities.

• Minimize code changes by grouping vulnerabilities that can be addressed through the same remediation effort.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

• 8 10 years of relevant professional experience.

• Must come from a strong security background.

• Proven ability to read, understand, and interpret security vulnerability findings effectively.

• Strong proficiency in Vulnerability Management, Java, and hands-on code development/testing.

• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
