Qualified candidates: Must be board certified/board eligible in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency trained Strong communication skills Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills Position profile: 15,000 annual volume Current 8-bed ED with 4 bed-expansion underway 24 hours daily physician coverage Advanced Practice Provider coverage Level IV Trauma 1099 position - up to 120 hours available Meditech Expanse EMR About Methodist Hospital - Hill Country 84 inpatient beds 8 LDRPs and C-Section operative suite 6 operating suites, 2 endoscopy suites, 2 palliative care suites 1 cardiac/interventional catheterization lab MHHC has 12 locations across a 14-county region offering a comprehensive array of services including emergency care, interventional radiology, cardiac catheterizations, orthopedic surgery, home care, hospice, urology, vascular, lab, wound care, women's services along with intensive care, inpatient /outpatient surgeries and more.
