About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to serve as a visionary and collaborative leader in driving the strategic evolution of a modern, university-wide compliance and privacy framework. The CCO will be responsible for coordinating complex compliance requirements across academic, research, clinical, and administrative operations, and will lead the implementation of a data-informed compliance model that enhances institutional alignment and accountability. This role involves building a culture of proactive risk management, developing tools and mechanisms for early risk identification and response, and providing oversight for core compliance programs and activities. The successful candidate for the CCO position at the company will be a senior leader with a strong background in compliance and privacy, capable of leading through influence in a complex, decentralized environment. Key responsibilities include serving in an advisory role to senior leadership and the Board of Regents, leading the Office of Institutional Compliance, and ensuring transparent communication and effective reporting regarding potential risks. The CCO will also be expected to partner closely with senior leadership across the university to build a culture of accountability and will be a collaborative relationship builder with the ability to bring best practices and fresh perspectives to the compliance function.
