This contract position offers the chance to support a diverse group of learners spanning kindergarten through 11th/12th grade, with a primary focus on elementary and middle school populations—creating a rewarding environment for both personal and professional growth.

Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure and registration in California
• Prior experience supporting students within a school environment
• Strong understanding of IEP process, including documentation and compliance
• Demonstrated proficiency with direct, hands-on therapeutic techniques addressing Autism, Specific Learning Disability (SLD), and Other Health Impairments (OHI)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly with students, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of approximately 34 students, plus pending evaluations

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, in-person therapy services to students, focusing on individualized needs and therapy goals
• Support and maintain compliance with student IEPs, including documentation, timelines, and progress reports
• Conduct evaluations as needed, working closely with educational staff to address pending cases
• Actively participate in the development of intervention strategies to enhance student access to curriculum and daily activities
• Collaborate on-site with other professionals to ensure continuity of care and best practices in therapy delivery

Position Details:

• Work three days per week, for a total of approximately 22.5 to 24 hours weekly
• Serve a comprehensive range of grades, with most students in elementary and middle school
• All therapy and collaboration delivered fully on-site; remote work options are not available for this hands-on role
